Easter & all sorts of other pictures (now that we have internet again)

I know it's been a long time since I've posted anything and I apologize. We just moved into our new house over Easter weekend and I was busy packing the week or two before that. So yes, we are in our new house and we LOVE it! It's nice cause Dallin now has his own bedroom instead of like the old house where we had turned the dining room into his nursery. He had a hard time adjusting to the new house and for the first few days he was waking up every 1/2 hour to hour. It made for a VERY long exhausting week for mommy and daddy. He is now back to his good sleeping schedule and not waking up til like 5:30! It's fantastic. I will post pictures as soon as I remember to take them.

Like I said, we moved Easter weekend. It was a busy weekend but Sunday was definitely our day of rest. Dallin woke us up at 8:30 so Trenton made me get up so he could go see the baskets. I got Dallin some overall shorts, a book, and some baby food and Grandma Jayne got him a little stuffed bunny. He was more into the Easter grass though (surprise surprise) While packing, my dad and I found that Trenton had a very mini hammer and I thought that that was all that he had for a hammer so I went to Lowe's and bought him a full size hammer. Come to find out he has a full size hammer in his truck...woops. I guess now we can have one in the house and one in the truck. I also got myself a basket and Trenton bought me some pretty pink roses while he was out in Vernal on Thursday so I got them a little early but it was great! What a great hubby he is!

I know it's hard to believe but Dallin turned 6 months old yesterday. Crazy, huh? He had his well-child appointment yesterday and he weighs 14 lbs 7 oz and is 24 1/4 inches long. The Dr. said he is now over the 5th percentile in weight and in the 3rd percentile for height, so pretty much he's still a midget. A cute midget though. The Dr also had me start feeding Dallin 2nd foods and have him start feeding himself little rice puffs or crackers. It is so cute to watch him try to maneuver his hands to get the food to his mouth. He does a pretty good job though and he'll only get better. I'm excited for him to be growing up but it makes me so sad at the same time.

Here are some pictures from the past couple weeks...

My handsome little boy with his very first Easter basket. He's so happy

He loves the Easter grass

He was covered in it by the time I took it away

Trenton with his basket and new hammer

My happy little man in his new Easter overall shorts (it was finally warm enough yesterday to put him in them)

Funny aunt Sharla holding him up by the overalls
Also...notice the adorable flip flops

Yeah that's right...I put his socks on his hands. I thought it would be funny and I was right

Sleepy little guy taking a nap on Aunt Sharla

She is laying on the floor holding him up by his legs. He LOVES it. He is our little acrobat.

Eating his very first cracker. He did so good until...

it got slippery and he dropped it

but mommy was there and picked it up for him so he could make a huge mess!

P.S. I love my family more than anything in this world. I am the luckiest mom and wife in the whole wide world!
