Dallin Hank, Space Ranger

I just had to post this hilarious picture my mom got of Dallin while she was in town a couple weeks ago. We got him a new 'Buzz Lightyear Space Vehicle' for him to hopefully learn to walk behind but he hasn't quite learned how yet. So instead I put him on it and wrap his legs around the wheel so he doesn't fall off and push him around the house. He pretty much loves it. Not sure what he is doing in the picture or what the face is all about but my mom took the picture at exactly the right time. The other two pictures are just ones I thought were super cute that my mom took.

He is a hardcore space ranger

9 month well child...and a family update

I took Dallin to his 9 month well child visit yesterday and he is doing great. He weighs 17 lbs 5 oz and is 26 in long. When I took him in at 8 months he was 16 lbs 14 oz and 26 in long so he has put on a little chub in the last month. He is in the 5th percentile still but at least he's growing. The dr said that if he was born closer to his due date and was only 8 months old like he should be he would be in the 25th percentile so it's because he was early. I'm not too worried though cause he is hitting all his milestones right on time. He is crawling all over the place I can barely keep up with the kid. He is getting better at scaling the furniture and he is walking pretty good while holding our hands, which is a new developement as of last week. It's nuts how fast he is learning things. I love it. He now says "Dad, da da da" to get Trenton's attention and says "Ma ma ma" when he wants me to cuddle him or when he gets tired. He definitely says dad way more than he says mom though, but that's ok I'm not jealous I think it is the cutest thing in the world! He loves going for rides on the 4 wheelers with us. We just take him around real slow but he likes it. It's funny, whenever we are outside and he sees the 4 wheelers he tries to climb over my shoulder just to get to them. We just bought Dallin a little wade pool so he and I can sit out in the backyard and play in the pool on my days off since it's been so hot here lately. I am super excited to get it set up. I hope he likes it as much as he like aunt Sharla's pool. He is sleeping better at night. Still not as long as I would like but I'll take what I can get. He eats pretty much everything we do just in smaller "bite size" portions, all except dairy. I can't believe how fast time flies. We couldn't be luckier though. He is happy all of the time. Even without naps he is the smiliest little boy I've ever seen.

As for Trenton and I, we are doing good. Just living day by day. Trenton's job is still doing good. They just got a new contract which guarantees work for a year. Which is great news for us! Trenton will also start his 3rd year of school in September. I can't believe we have been here that long. It will be 2 years in September. We are liking it here more and more each day except for being away from our family and friends in Boise. Hopefully we can move back home some day. I am still working at State Farm 3 days a week and love being able to be home with Dallin the other 2 days. Maybe someday I will get to be a stay at home mom...we'll see. We have been riding the 4 wheelers a lot more lately, especially now that I have learned how to ride them. I even did jumps and caught some air...not too much of it but all 4 wheels were off the ground. Yeah that's right, I'm pretty much fearless. PAH HA. I will post some videos of that later this week. We have been a little busy with people in town. Our friends Megan and Jay came to town for the 4th of July and we had a BLAST. We road the 4 wheelers, went and saw Eclipse (LOVED IT!) played water balloon capture the flag in our front and back yard (that was pretty much AWESOME) and lit off some fireworks. Dallin loved watching all the pretty lights they made. He didn't get scared of any of them. I swear to you my kid is fearless, which is great sometimes and scares the crap out of me at the same time. He's gonna be a tough one to keep up with. Megan and Jay left on Tuesday and my mom came Wednesday night. It was awesome to have her here. She watched Dallin while I worked Thursday and Friday. Friday night her and I went to see Eclipse since she hadn't seen it yet (loved it again) Saturday we went out to visit Sharla in Salt Lake. We went shopping and sat in her little wade pool while Dallin crawled around. It was way fun. Well guys, sorry for such a long update but it's been a while. Hope everything is going well for you guys. Love you all!

Dallin's play date with Lincoln

Lincoln is our friends little boy. He is 6 weeks older than Dallin so he is a few milestones ahead which is great cause Dallin likes to follow him around and learn from him. Sometimes it's good things like...crawling, sometimes it's not so good of things like...a VERY high pitched scream. They are so cute together though. As you can see in the pictures Dallin just followed him around everywhere. It's a love hate relationship though, sometimes they are playing nicely together other times it's hair pulling and eye gouging. We take what we can get though.

Bathtime

First of all I'm not sure why this is all underlined but I'm too lazy to try to figure it out ;) So I think Dallin is so cute when he is taking a bath. He loves his little squirty turtle and pretty much takes his whole bath with it in his mouth. SO CUTE! He is always so excited when I turn the water on, too. He stands up at the bath tub and starts bouncing and giggling till I put him in. It's pretty much adorable. Here are a few pictures of my little stud muffin during bath time...Enjoy.
