Sick baby and weekend at the races

Last Tuesday night Dallin started getting a cough and by Wednesday morning he was sounding awful. Two of my friends kids had been sick so I called the Dr's office and miraculously there was an appointment open that day (that NEVER happens) I took him in and the Dr said since I brought him in right away he couldn't be certain but he thought it was probably the start of RSV and was going to treat it as such, so he started Dallin on a nebulizer. We do breathing treatments 4 times a day. I had to take Thursday and Friday off work since it's contagious and couldn't take him to daycare (and mommy and Dallin needed each other) This is the first time Dallin has been sick. It breaks my heart. You can tell his throat hurts and he has almost completely lost his voice. He is doing a little better today and we have a follow up appointment tomorrow. I am really hoping he gives me the okay to take him to daycare cause I really need to go to work.

Over the weekend we met my family in Ogden to watch my grandpa's races. He won the first race and lost the second. It was really good to see them though. Since Dallin wasn't feeling good we stayed inside except for when my grandpa raced. Amy bought Dallin a really cute pair of sunglasses as you can see in the pictures below. Dallin is getting so big and smart it makes me so happy! He is sitting up unassisted pretty well now and his first tooth broke through today. I feel bad cause I didn't know he was teething cause his gums weren't swollen so I hadn't been giving him Tylenol or a teether or anything for the pain. He has done pretty well though. He is such a stud. Here are some ADORABLE pictures and a video. I'm sorry to say this to all you other parents out there but I'm pretty sure I have the CUTEST little boy in the whole wide world! Here are some pictures from our weekend at Grandma's for her 50th birthday. I hope no one is offended by my baby's naked booty...but he is just the cutest thing in the world!

It's been a while since I've posted anything...sorry. Last month I took Dallin to his 4 month well child appointment and just like mommy wished for he weighed exactly 12 pounds and is 23 1/2 inches long. He is rolling all the time and trying to sit up. I started feeding him rice cereal and baby food. He is SO good at eating. He picked up on it really fast as long as he keeps his hands out of his mouth. He is starting to laugh all of the time now. We are so lucky to have such a happy little boy! As you can see in the video below Daddy is now able to play with him a little more now that he is getting bigger. Dallin loves being thrown in the air and when we make funny faces at him and pretty much anything. All you have to do is look at him and you get a HUGE grin. It's great.

On Saturday we went to my friend/coworker's son's birthday party. It was Mickey Mouse themed so here is a picture of Dallin in his Mickey Mouse ears.
